Dress is sheer because the material is thin. Material is stretchy lace at the bust and sheer chiffon at the bottom with waist tie. Straps are stretchy and adjustable. It is a nightgown, not a casual summer dress, you can wear it outside but consider layering. Fit best size  M or bust max 96cm
